History
911 Fire Fighting & Safety Equipment Maintenance & Installation LLC was founded by Mr. Mohammad Al Ghaith together with his partner, Mr. Mohammad Al Ahmadi on 14 June 2009. The company started with three (3) office staff and three (3) servicing technicians in a small office located in Deira.
The first few contracts were awarded among its first clients: Seddiqi & Sons Investment, Jamal Al Hai, Desert Group, Al Masaood Company, Asam Investments, Emirates DNATA and Al Habtoor Motors and Group. Furthermore, the first major project for installation with Claymore Security and Safety Consultant amounting to more than AED 500,000 was secured in the same month.
Due to expansion and requirement for a small warehouse, the company relocated to a warehouse in Ras Al Khor.
The company secured more projects both with annual maintenance and variable jobs in 2010 thus; it also started to increase its manpower by hiring additional technicians and office staff. In addition, agreements with different suppliers of materials and manpower as well as subcontractors were established.
After a year, the company was again moved to Al Jaddaf Dry Docks Compound Shed No. 133 A in line with the company's continual effort to secure a safe workplace to its employees. The management also formed various departments, i.e., Administrative, Operations, Accounts and Finance and Procurement to imbibe a clearer and more distinctive definition of roles and responsibilities.
From few major clients, the company now has more than 400 clients which include international leaders with known global brands. Now on its third year of growth, 911 has grown from a simple full service fire protection systems contractor employing six (6) personnel in 2009 to a fast growing company with more than 70 employees (both office-based and site-based).
Essentially, the company is still young but the influence of the top management of its professionalism and commitment to ensure safety and to protect lives and properties to all employees is the most essential catalyst in achieving total quality management. As a result, the company vied for the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems standardization and was subsequently certified by the Bureau of Assessment Services on 08 December 2011.
